6 days, 9 hours, 12 minutes

Yukon 1000 is a 1,600 km long race – the toughest and longest paddling race in the world, where participants face isolation, exhaustion, and situations that demand survival skills.

Competitors follow the footsteps of early adventurers, paddling through the untouched wilderness of Canada and Alaska with only their boat partner; any contact with the outside world means disqualification from the race.

It is the ultimate challenge for both body and mind – in every 24-hour period, we could paddle for 18 hours and had to spend 6 hours on shore, of which we barely managed to sleep for 3 hours. To sleep, we had to put up a tent in a random spot in the wilderness, where there are hundreds of times more bears than people.

Push Past Impossible

‘Push Past Impossible’ looks into the history of the world´s toughest survival race and tracks the stories of the incredible individuals who entered the 2023 Yukon 1000 event.

Tracking the very same path of the early frontiersmen and women during the Klondike gold rush in the late 1800s, the race draws 30 teams each year to compete in an unforgiving environment that is the last frontier on Earth.

Watch the movie to discover what it takes to complete the full 1000-mile race (spoiler: not all do). Shed tears, feel their pain, and be a part of the triumph with those who make it to the unremarkable finish line.

A JOURNEY OF MOTIVATION – OUR PATH TO THE YUKON 1000 OVERALL VICTORY

Are you looking for inspiration and real-world motivation that proves the impossible is truly possible?

Our motivational talk, “INSPIRATION ATTACK” takes you on an extraordinary journey. It is the story of how we paddled 1,600 kilometers through the untamed wilderness of Canada and Alaska, becoming the first all-female crew in the history of the Yukon 1000 to claim the overall victory.

This is a story about how dreaming big, true teamwork, relentless focus, and pure perseverance can carry you to goals that standard logic might call reckless—or completely out of reach.

InspiratION ATTACK

In our wild case study, we dive deep into goal setting, preparation, pushing past limits, the sweet taste of victory, and the absurd situations that easily could have turned the entire race upside down.

One of the most colorful examples is crossing the Canada-Alaska border by boat. We found ourselves facing a critical dilemma: do we enter the US illegally, or do we sit and wait for the border patrol officer to answer our call? At that exact moment, we had lost our lead, and continuing the race seemed completely hopeless.

Our presentation features exclusive photo and video footage that the general public has never seen. The format and duration of Inspiration Attack are fully flexible, making it the perfect fit for team building, strengthening internal communication, or serving as a highlight for your company’s inspiration days.

IN OUR MOTIVATIONAL TRAINING, WE WILL SHARE:

  • How a big dream was born and how our collaboration began.
  • How the team stayed motivated even when preparations didn’t go according to plan.
  • How we found the right sponsors—partners who believed in our dream just as deeply as we did.
  • What happens when everything goes wrong all at once, and how to maintain focus and team spirit in those critical moments.
  • How we pushed through it all to come out as champions.
  • How these lessons build perseverance, inspiration, and collaborative power in everyday life long after the race is over.

Our experience proves that true success is born when you believe in yourself, support those around you, and relentlessly move toward your goals. This is the exact message our training brings to your team—to ignite fresh inspiration, strengthen teamwork, and remind everyone of the incredible potential we all hold within.

Our leaders remain continuously open to new ideas and inspiration, as proven by our recent development days with Linda Tetsmann and Anette Baum. Their incredible experiences from the Yukon River ultramarathon brought us valuable insights on leadership and collaboration.

What do a paddling ultramarathon and corporate leadership have in common? More than we might think—from endurance and communication to maintaining the right mindset.

Thanks to Linda and Anette’s stories, it is now even clearer to us how to overcome challenges and keep our focus on the right course.

We are truly grateful to everyone who helped make our development days so incredibly inspiring!

An absolutely powerful sharing!

It is incredibly awesome how a paddling journey is filled with universal lessons that apply just the same to relationships, business, sports—every single area of life.

Thank you, Anette, for your great skill in highlighting, presenting, and helping us notice these crucial lessons.

Winning team from the Yukon 1000, a 1600-kilometre kayak race in the remote Alaskan wildness, Linda shared the challenges of the race that begins way before getting to the start line, let alone winning such a demanding event.

The perseverance to paddle at a barely sustainable pace through bear-infested back country for almost 7 days was an utter inspiration, and both are fantastic role models to young people for their drive and determination!

Big stories
